Task Description
You’re task is to rebrand your hometown logo and create unique elements that would make the logo stand out.

Here are some sketches I’ve made for my hometown logo. As you can see, I was originally use the sprague mansion as the logo. But then I decided to go with the gazebo for the logo because that will fit better for the state.

The challenges I’ve faced while redesigning my hometown logo is coming up with a design that the state would recognize when people walk by. I thought when I sketched out the William’s Sprague mansion would work for a logo design, but it didn’t. So then I sketched the Garden city gazebo because it would be more recognizable. When it came to designing the logo in Illustrator, I had to figure what part of the gazebo to show. So for the final design I decided to go with the roof top that would fill in with the space I had. Overall. I’m very happy with how the logo turned out.
